At Hastings Intermediate, we aim to involve students and their families in learning. In Term one, students set goals as part of an individual Learning Pathway and share these with their families at the first Parent-Teacher-Student Conference. Students then reflect on their progress towards these goals in a Student Led Conference using an eportfolio in Term two. In Term four we reflect on both progress and achievement in an end-of-year report. Students are supported and guided to identify their next steps on their journey towards becoming ‘confident, connected, actively involved life-long learners.’ (NZC, p8)
